We’re looking for an experienced digital account handler to help continue The Union’s remarkable digital growth. Reporting directly to the Union board, you’ll be a talented strategic thinker, with excellent communications and presentation skills, and have the enthusiasm, drive and energy to lead from the front.
The Union is one of Scotland’s leading communications agencies, and digital is at the heart of our integrated offering. Our current client list extends across B2B and B2C, public and private, including hospitality, tourism, charity, education, food & beverage, and retail.
As such this is a senior role, with excellent career development opportunities. In terms of skillset, you will have a comprehensive understanding of 'all things digital' including website design and build, mobile apps and sites, online advertising, and email marketing, and you’ll understand how these fit into the overall communications mix.
Key responsibilities include identifying, developing and overseeing digital projects for existing and new clients, digital strategy and planning, and writing and presenting proposals, tenders and pitches.
Whilst relevant marketing qualifications are of interest, the main requirement is proven account management experience within an online marketing environment or digital agency.
Salary is commensurate to experience.

We’re looking for a lively and driven Account Manager to join the team at Union Direct. You’ll work with a team of an Account Director, Account Manager and an Account Executive and be a key day to day contact for one of our biggest clients. The fast-paced financial account covers a variety of channels from direct marketing to advertising and digital. No two days are ever the same! And you’ll also have the opportunity to work across two more of our big brands within the team, getting experience in three very different sectors.
We’re looking for an Account Manager who is energetic, proactive and has the ability to manage several projects at once. You’ll strive to deliver excellent service to our clients, build relationships and help deliver great creative work. You have fantastic attention to detail and communication skills, and are a real team player.
Agency experience required.
