The History Bug

With over 77 paid for attractions, Historic Environment Scotland has a lot to offer. But in the age of iPads and Netflix, a day out to an ancient property isn’t top of everyone’s list. To turn tablet worshippers into history-lovers we needed an idea that was highly infectious. The History Bug was born (or airborne). Spreading far and wide across the country, it was an epidemic like no other. The number of memberships purchased during the 6-week campaign were a whopping +42% above target. It was the only treatment. (And the Gold Marketing Star Award in 2018 was a nice ‘get well’ present.)
