Having grown from a start-up to a $1billion+ business in less than ten years, Skyscanner is one of Scotland’s greatest success stories. But to maintain that momentum, it needed to attract the best-of-the-best new graduates from across the globe. In the face of a worldwide tech sector skills shortage and competition from the likes of Google and Facebook, that was no easy task. To intrigue and engage this discerning audience, and overcome any prejudices they may have about joining Skyscanner, we created an alluring sub-brand called The Futurati. It spoke directly to our audience, gave Skyscanner standout at international recruitment fairs, and helped remind everyone of Skyscanner’s impeccable tech credentials and career opportunities.
