The name Vardy has been synonymous with the motor trade since 1923. When Peter Vardy took the reins in 2006 he wanted the new name and this new chapter to have a visual identity that matched both his ambition and energy.
The brief was simple: express the quality and reliability of the brand, and ensure that the brand identity could carry through into all communications. We created a sleek and elegant design which captured the aesthetics and dynamism of the classic car marque, matching the visual language of the automotive sector. The new logo has gone on to serve Peter Vardy rather well, enduring now for over 15 years and famously featuring on the front of Scotland’s rugby top until Peter Vardy’s sponsorship ended in 2021.
