The posters, created by The Union, featured leather sofas and invited Vegans to ''look away now''. The ASA decided the posters were deliberately light-hearted and did not breach the guidelines. Robert Begg, Managing Director of Olympian Pine, apologised to anyone who was offended, but added that the goal of advertising is to get noticed and he was pleased with the sales results.
