Finance Director | Union Group

Having completed a joint degree in Accountancy and Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1995. I remained working in practice for 5 years until switching to the client side. I joined 20:20 Opticians where, alongside the founder, we grew the business from 3 to 6 practices before selling in 2015. 

After a short career break, I joined the Union Group in October 2017. My role includes direct responsibility for all the finance, business administration, IT and HR functions of the group, as well as making sure we are constantly evolving and improving to meet the demands of clients and staff. 

To work in a creative environment is so much fun and I have never worked with such a nice bunch of people as the team at The Union. You can quote me on that.
