Louise Killough

Deputy Managing Director | Union

After graduating from the University of Strathclyde I cut my teeth on brands like Highland Spring, Reebok and Warburtons before making the move to The Union. I love it here (no one paid me to write that). It’s fast-paced, full of energetic people and the decisions we make are always shaped by insight, and sometimes intuition.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege to work on a number of diverse clients and campaigns including behaviour change for The Scottish Government, selling Scotland to the world for VisitScotland, increasing sales of Scotch Beef and Scotch Lamb for Quality Meat Scotland, and encouraging volunteers to sign up to Children’s Hearings Scotland. I’d need my own website to do them all justice.

And now as Deputy Managing Director I get the chance work even more closely with my clients while also leading and mentoring those whose journey is just beginning. I have small feet but very big shoes, if you know what I mean.

Making a difference to people’s lives is a great feeling. And doing it with a team that’s equally as passionate is the key to doing the best work.
