As part of the £1.5m marketing spend for Baxters new range of Fresh Soups, The Union has created a new 20″ television ad. The commercial first aired on 7 November and will continue throughout December, the key soup selling months.

UNION EVOKES GOLDEN AGE OF TRAVEL FOR SCOTTISH & NEWCASTLE INTERNATIONAL

The Union has launched a new global press and direct marketing campaign for Scottish & Newcastle International. Briefed earlier this year to develop a campaign to increase the profile of S&N in the international travel retail arena, The Union has created a series of iconic images that mimic the timeless travel posters of the 1920s and 30s.

THE UNION AND NU MEDIA SECURE PLACE ON SCOTTISH EXECUTIVE ROSTER

The Union has been successful in securing its place on the Scottish Executive creative agency roster after a major contract review by the Scottish Executive. For the first time, a creative agency roster will handle the advertising requirements of Historic Scotland, NHS24, Quality Meat Scotland, Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Executive and VisitScotland.

THE UNION GRADUATES WITH UNIVERSITY OF TEESSIDE

The Union in Leeds has been appointed as The University of Teesside’s advertising agency, to handle all student recruitment ad campaigns, after a five-way pitch against other leading Northern agencies. Jane Card, the University’s Marketing Manager, said, “We were very impressed by The Union’s understanding of the issues and how that translated to the outstanding creative work they presented.”
