As the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of roof windows and skylights, VELUX is one of Denmark’s most famous and popular exports.
At a time when the brand was under attack from lower-priced competitors we were tasked to drive brand awareness both with end users and the trade right across Europe. Our strategic approach focused on the uplifting and emotional power of light, dramatising the magical transformations that can occur in our long-forgotten spaces.
The ‘Toys in the Attic’ campaign that followed resulted in significant brand awareness and brand image improvements. Muppet Show and Sesame St. fans may like to know that the toys were created by the legendary Jim Henson Creature Shop and appeared across eight European markets for nearly five years.
