This kicked off at one of London’s busiest hubs, Waterloo Station. Leveraging AI and the latest ONS pension data, Union agencies created an immersive and interactive experience for commuters. To date the Pension Mirror has only been available online. The new physical version captivated passersby for a full 13 hours, with new interactions every 1 minute and 50 seconds.
This dynamic activation was a true integrated effort, brought to life by Union Direct (for the creative idea and account management), Union Connect (experiential project management), and Union Digital (technical and support). Not to forget the Scottish Widows team for their enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to making pensions more engaging.

Scott Stevenson, Scottish Widows, Brand Campaign Manager, commented on the activation. "It was amazing to see the Pension Mirror come to life. We’ve loved the Union team’s dedication and support on it. Definitely one of my favourite campaigns to ever work on, with such fantastic results and interactions. Every 1m and 50 secs for 13 hours straight was phenomenal."

Watch out for the Pension Mirror in other locations nationwide this year and in early 2025.
Union Direct's work on this project netted two Golds at the Marketing Star Awards in Edinburgh earlier this year.
