Having 20 nominations spread over 15 categories, the agency had high hopes of doing well. And with three tables all being conveniently placed near the stage, it was easy to get carried away even before the first winning announcement. Thankfully, the seating arrangements proved more than perfect.

Four gold awards were won. For The Royal Scots Club in Brand Development, Bank of Scotland in Digital Communication, Lightbody Ventures in Food and Drink, and ScottishPower in Retail and Hospitality. We were also delighted to see Julie Keough win Inspiring Marketing Leader.

Two silvers were won for ScottishPower in Integrated Marketing and Design, and a trio of bronzes, for Donald Russell in Food and Drink, Police Scotland in Public Sector and Marketing Planning and Insights.

All in all, nine awards from 20 nominations.

Louise Killough, Executive Director, commented, “We went to the awards this year with 20 nominations across the group. A truly phenomenal amount, and a brilliant reflection of the quality of campaigns we do for our fantastic clients across many sectors. It does not go unnoticed the blood, sweat and tears that goes into writing these papers – from gathering data, building a story, making it look good – it takes an incredible effort from so many people. We are thankful to every single one of them.”

Emma Campbell, Executive Director, added, "We place a great deal importance on these awards; they represent an brilliant opportunity to prove our worth as an agency, and showcase our work to the market. It’s also an opportunity to support an industry we care very deeply about. And it’s just such a good feeling to begin our new era as an employee-owned business with some gold."
